How Ice breaking can change lives feat. UberPool

Today when I saw one of my co riders, her face looked familiar. So I checked her name in the app. I sort of confirmed that I met her during one of the event I had volunteered for under privileged kids.

Nevertheless, I wanted to confirm this was really her. But the following thoughts ran in my head (Introverts reading this will relate) —

Well, I finally mustered the courage to ask her about the event we volunteered for and luckily for me, she readily recognized me and all the fun moments we all had !! Two important things happened because of me shedding the inhibition and initiating the conversation —

By this time I reached my destination and as much as I wanted to continue listening and contribute to the conversation of these two amazing ladies, I suppose that’s not how UberPool works !!

I promised to keep in touch and also help in anyway I can.

By the end of the journey, I was insulated from flash floods, power failure and grumpiness.
