Time is Money

You don’t have to agree but Benjamin Franklin said that first in “Advice to a Young Tradesman”

This old piece contains words that can help one get a clear focus on what to concentrate on when it comes to business.

But thats not all

Since the principles of success is similar in all cases, it makes it easy to simply lift some of this advise and implement in other areas of life as well.

And the value of our 24 hours is actually one of them.

As humans, we believe that we are entitled to do what we like with our selves.

Even the general cry for owning your business is usually around being able to CONTROL your time (folks who runs their own business know better).

But what if we are granted this wish. What then do we use this treasure for.

On the list of 99% of us would be enjoying life to the max.

What that means to you might be different to the next person, but I am sure it entails having fun as much as you can.

But here is the thing, have you thought of the payout from the fun?

Because as you should know by now, the law of physics is universal. This includes the popular “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”

Which means for everytime you choose to have fun, you would also be sacrificing something else that is also important to you.

And considering that time is limited and can only be spent on one thing at a particular time, you would be making a trade.

Do I go have fun or I choose the other option?

Please do not mistake my take position as pushing for a boring life without exploring the pleasures of life.

What I want you to remember instead is that your choice is an investment.

Just like money in your purse, you decide what to spend it on.

Between picking an option where you get to reap a benefit at a later time or simply living in the moment while ignoring that you are making a trade-off.

The choice is yours.
